The Gefen Single Infrared Emitter transmits IR signals from automation control systems to IR enabled products. It features a mini-phone plug that connects to the automation controller and an emitter shell that attaches directly over the IR sensor of the device intended for control. Compatible automation control systems include the Gefen PACS or Mini PACS.
Housed in a miniature injection-molded shell, the Emitter emits both infrared and visible red light for confirmation of signal transmission.
Note:
The red LED may also indicate the presence of stray IR or RF interference by randomly blinking when no IR control signal is being sent. If this occurs, reposition the IR receiver at the source to eliminate or reduce the random blinking. The more the random blinking is reduced, the better the system will function.
