Gefen Ultra HD 4K 1:2 HDMI Splitter (White)

The Gefen Ultra HD 4K 1:2 HDMI Splitter, in white, is a wall mount/surface mount, 1 input/2 output splitter supporting resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K (3840 x 2160). It allows you to distribute an HDMI signal simultaneously to up to two HDMI displays, such as HDTVs and 3DTVs. It supports 12-bit Deep Color, lossless audio formats like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and HDCP content protection for compatibility with HDCP protected devices, like Blu-ray players and cable boxes. The HDMI connectors have locking ports right above them for compatible locking HDMI cables.

The splitter features Gefen's Fast Switching Technology (FST), which eliminates the HDMI and HDCP authentication process and enables quicker HDCP handshaking and audio/video source switching. This feature is adjustable between fast and slow by a selector switch. Two other selector switches allow you to make other adjustments to match your environment/setup. An audio switch lets you choose between 2-channel and multi-channel audio output. An EDID switch lets you choose between internal and external EDID communication modes for improving the compatibility between your HDMI source and devices.

A USB port is available on the bottom for installing possible future firmware upgrades. Both Macs and PCs are supported for the upgrade downloads. Right next to the USB port is a locking power supply port that securely locks in the included power supply. Mounting screws are not supplied for mounting the splitter but any standard wood or drywall screws can be used.
