    GRIP&SHOOT GRS001B reviews

GRIP&SHOOT (Black) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from I would not buy this again. Battery included died after first hour of use -- while I was travelling. Had to search Internet to figure out how to change the battery because this step was not in the short user manual provided. Discovered product does not work with most iPhone camera apps but does with 645 Pro Plus. Still, one needs Bluetooth to operate which drains battery while travelling. Doesn't always respond when trigger pulled which has meant I have missed some photo opportunities. Grip on iPhone doesn't feel secure enough to me to dangle device using the hand strap. The product idea is good, the product itself didn't meet my expectations based on the advertising and the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition to cell phone as camera I have an iPhone 6+. I like it, but when I use the camera feature, I am forced to use two hands to control it. The Grip N Shoot changes that. The handle transformers the camera into a one handed operation. You can zoom (\- zoom buttons), release the shutter all with one hand. There are other features as well. You can set many different white balance settings much like most DSLRs. You can add or subtract exposure to help with difficult scenes. You can switch to video and use these features also easily. I know the Grip N Shoot is pricy at $99, but it's worth it if you are planning a vacation and taking pictures is the top of your list.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Innovative Product: Just what the iPhone camera needs I used a home brew version of this product before I bought the Grip&Shoot to steady my iPhone 6 shots. The Bluetooth interface for a shutter release is perfect. I like the app that allows for a sort of manual exposure control. The iPhone has a pretty good built in camera and its made better with this grip. Without this grip the iPhone is too tiny and light to hold steady. Most shots taken by iPhone users are not sharp because they are unable to hold the camera steady, especially with low light slow shutter speeds. For video this grip is required equipment for obvious reasons, steady smooth movements, pans, etc, highly recommended. I use an iPhone, though this grip will work well with any brand of smartphone camera. The cons of this product is that the grip is a bit on the small side for my hand, and its shutter release button should be higher up the grip where your trigger finger naturally wants to rest. Its present location is awkward and you have to pay attention to squeeze off a shake free shot. For the record I have a small hand and thin fingers. I find that the spring loaded clamp is all you need for 99% of the smartphone cameras out there. The supplied case and other smartphone adapters, I never need and don't find useful.
