The 92 Wh, 14.4V Separatable Battery with V-Mount from VariZoom is a video battery solution that splits in half. Because in many cases the battery's full capacity of 184 Wh exceeds government or airline-imposed limits set for transporting lithium-ion batteries, it can be split in half leaving two 92 Wh sections.
The battery uses lithium-ion chemistry for a higher power-to-weight ratio compared to earlier, Ni-MH technology. It features a V-Mount, and is for use with professional video cameras, field monitors, recorders, and other devices that accept 14.4V DC.
