Wondering if a c200 would work on this rig as well? I have a c100 and want to upgrade to a c200 but have several projects that will happen before that upgrade, wondering if this would fit both just fine or if I'd need to make a switch.
Asked by: Phil
Hello Philip, Thank you for reaching out to us! This particular setup was initially designed for the C100/C300/C500. Installing a C200 might result in a setup where the optical center of the C200 won't be exact if you install accessories in front of your lens. We suggest you take a look at our C200 products to see what options are available. https://www.shapewlb.com/camera-rigs-for-canon-c200/. We hope this helps and we thank you for your interest in our products. The SHAPE team.

question

I couldn't find any photos or video of this offset rig in action. I'm very curious to see how it works using the LCD screen as a monitor and how well all of the camera functions can be reached. I am also curious to see how this rig works with the hand grip. Does anyone know of any demo videos of this product?

question

Can you make this a non-offset shoulder rig if you wanted, with just one set of rods? The reason I ask is if I could use the offset for my c100 (rear monitor) or one set of rods on my shoulder for c300 (different monitor).
Asked by: Bobby P.
Absolutely! Very easily!

question

The current bundle includes an extension cable for Canon's grip. How do you mount the original grip to the rig? Is the bundle complete?
Asked by: Anonymous
Hello Dear Customer!Thank you for your question! The bundle does in fact include our C100-C300-C500 bracket (HAC300)https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/867118-REG/SHAPE_hac300_C300_Bracket_for_C300.html which you attach by replacing the right rubber handgrip, and then attach the original Canon's grip. B&H will correct this mistake on their website. We apologise for this issue. We thank you for your interest in our products!Best regards,The SHAPE team

question

This product photo shows the back shoulder pad extension, does that come with this rig package? And also If I buy the counterweight separate, how does it go onto the rig?
Asked by: Mitchel
Hi Mitchel ,yes the shoulder pad extension come with the rig, if you use any C series camera you need to buy the counterweight sold separately. The pad extension that come with the rig is just plastic and with the camera mounted on the rig you will face some unbalancing problem. With the optional counterweight you will solve all the balance problems. The rig will be a little bit heavy but is ok. Regarding the mounting for both the original and the optional shoulder pad hare tail mounted on the back of the rig true a butterfly screw and a washer. Hope this information help you to chose the right gear for your camera. Happy filming.Daniele

Can anyone recommend what matte box and follow focus to use on this? I'll be running the C100 Mark II.

question

Will this work with a RED Raven?
Asked by: Michael R.
Hello Micheal, thank you for your question. The RED RAVEN can be mounted on this rig. However, since it has been developped specifically for the CANON C-SERIES and its specific optical center, you may experience some difficulties to fit accessories on the front rods like a matte box. There is a difference of approximately 20mm between both camera optic center. I hope this answer will help you make a choice. Best regards,
