The Radeon HD 5450 Graphics Card from XFX Force features a single slot, low profile form factor and a heastsink-based cooling system for low power consumption and reduced space requirements. It includes driver and application software for Windows, and is suitable for installation in desktop computers with free PCI Express expansion slots.
The GPU in this version of the HD 5450 features a 650 MHz core clock speed, and incorporates 80 stream processors. The stream processors act as shaders to render display graphics as well as support parallel processing, to help out with non-graphics related tasks. To move data to and from the core, the card features 1GB of 533 MHz sDDR3 RAM. Because sDDR3 RAM moves data at two words per cycle the memory has an effective clock speed of 1066 MHz.
