    Extreme Pro SDHC/SDXC UHS-II Card Reader/Writer is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 80.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Fast This card reader unloads my 64 gig Sandisk uhs-ii card to my MacBook Pro ridiculously fast. Using Lightroom in the past I had to sit and watch the download progress bar, now the progress bar just blazes by in a couple of seconds after a day of shooting with this card reader. ****note, you must insert the card into the reader first, then extend the usb plug out then plug it into your computer to work. This took me about a 1/2 hour to figure out. The reader came with no instructions to explain this and it wasn't intuitive at first.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work for me It didn't look promising from the get-go; the product is noticeably flimsy. I was willing to overlook that, but it just didn't work for me. It looked like software self-installed when I first plugged it in to my USB, but I could never get the device to be visible onscreen. I returned it and B&H was great about the process, so the ordeal was nearly painless. SanDisk makes great SD cards, so the poor quality of this product surprised me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SImple Basic & Fast I just received this reader/writer and I must say at first glance it does seem a little light weight. The one thing that I noticed very quickly is that you need to push down gently on the front of the slide to get the USB port to extend. When it is slid back in it goes up a little ramp so it locks in place. When inserting the SD card you must slid it in until it stops and then extend the USB port which pulls the card completely into the reader/writer. Once in place it feels secure and it is read right away and the down load is very quick. I down loaded an 8GB card full of 16mg RAW photos very quickly. This will be a great addition to my travel photography kit along with my D7000 and new Surface Pro 4 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic Speed Have only downloaded with class 1 cards, but the speed is fantastic. I am use to starting a download and walking away to do other tasks, but with this card the speed is very good. Light weight so it is good for traveling, but might be considered flimsy for desktop or heavy usage. (Not sure about reliability longer term since I have only had it a short while.). Figuring out how to load a card so the computer recognizes it was initially a little tricky until I realized you insert the card, slightly depress the button and then slide the button forward to expose the usb connector. Will definitely be using these for desktop usage until a heavy duty desktop version comes along. Great for traveling.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor construction Poor construction, it has a moving mechanism to insert SD card that is not reliable and fragile, unit is bulky for smaller laptops. I returned it for another reader.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible quality This is a fragile thing. It was broken in my hands on the first day of use! Difficult to use with Mac Pro and MacBook Pro. Extreme in the title - it's a joke :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Its works, Kind of It seems like This Is meant to be a transport reader and would be a good way not to loose your card. This reader is inconvenient to park at your workstation and have to remove just to flip the switch to get your card back. Computer recognition of the devise is intermittent as well.
