RTW 31900SD Overview

The RTW-31900SD 1RU SurroundControl Audio Analyzer with 3G/HD/SD-SDI De-Embedder from RTW is designed for controlling, analyzing and monitoring stereo, surround sound, and multi-channel programs. The SurroundControl unit is a 19" 1RU rack mount featuring 8 25-pin Sub-D connectors for analog and digital audio inputs and outputs. It comes with 2 BNC connectors for the 3G/HD/SD-SDI De-Embedder interface. The 30010 optional RTW Remote Display (VGA monitor with function keys) or any standard VGA display can be used for external monitoring.

This model combines the metering function of the RTW surround display devices and the control function of an 8 channel monitoring controller. The remote control features a volume control for up to 8 channels with channel functions including rear-to-front, mono, phase, and side switching, solo, mute, and dim. The system incorporates a surround test signal generator and an SPL meter for calibration of the studio monitoring system.
