Canare GS-6 Overview

The 35' GS-6 Guitar Cable from Canare is an unbalanced cable with a Neutrik Silent right angle 1/4" TS plug and a straight Black & Gold plug. The combination of this cable's thick yet flexible 127-strand conductor and its polyethylene dielectric and dual shields result in very low capacitance and wide frequency response. This cable is suitable for use with both guitar and bass. It can also be used for keyboards to amps, mixers, effects pedals and outboard signal processing gear.

The Neutrik Silent right angle TS plug phone connector automatically mutes (shorts) an instrument cable to avoid pops and squeals when changing the instrument under load. The integrated gold-contact reed switch is activated by a spring-loaded magnetic sleeve that un-shorts the contacts only when the jack is fully mated. The switch is hermetically sealed.

Always connect the Silent plug end of the cable into your guitar or instrument AFTER connecting the other end of the cable to the amp, to reduce the chance of amp damage or noisy feedback.
