The mounting slots in the back are upside down. If you want to mount the surge protector and have it slide over the mounting screws and be secure, the cord will be on the bottom and the word Belkin will be upside down. Don't quite get this. Possibly why it's at a low price.

The mounting hole/slot on the rear of the unit is poorly located. Both of the mounting points are on the left side. When removing a plug that is tight, the base tries to twist on the screw mounts. Engineering should know that "both" sides should have mounting holes/slots. I had to add an adhesive to the right hand side for extra strength. I'm very disappointed.

belkin advanced surge protector for the office. how do i hook up so my phone and fax will work?
This model has protection only for the AC line. There is no connection or protection for the telephone line.
