The 6-24x50 Viper HS-T Riflescope from Vortex Optics is designed to be a versatile scope for use in the field, on the range, and for tactical operations with medium to long-range targets. All of the scope's glass is made with XD extra-low dispersion glass and are XR antireflective fully multicoated to produce images that are bright and clear, with true color representation without distortion, across the entire field of view. Its large objective lens is ideal for use in low-light conditions such as at dawn and dusk when many game animals are most active. The 30mm main-tube is made from a single piece of aluminum. A matte-black hard anodized finish reduces reflection off the scope body, and resists scratching and corrosion. It's argon-filled for water and fogproof performance in all weather conditions.

Adding to the HS-T's versatility is the modified duplex VMR-1 MRAD reticle situated on the second focal plane. This utilitarian reticle has thick outer posts, and thin center hairs with MRAD hash-marks on both axes for ranging, hold-over, and shot correction. The lower vertical post is shorter to provide a longer elevation range.

Optical Performance

  • 6-24x zoom
  • 50mm objective lens
  • XR anti-reflective fully multicoated optics increase light transmission
  • XD extra-low dispersion glass increases resolution and color fidelity, resulting in crisp and sharp images
  • Precision-Glide Erector System: Zoom lens mechanism ensures smooth magnification changes under extreme conditions
  • Etched-glass reticle placed on the Second Focal Plane (SFP)

Use and Handling

  • VMR-1 MRAD duplex crosshair reticle
  • Large outer posts and thin center hairs with MRAD hash-marks to aid in hold-over, corrections, and ranging
  • Lower post is shorter, with longer hairs and more hash-marks for a grater elevation range
  • 0.1 MRAD per click impact point correction
  • 19 MRAD windage/elevation adjustment range, with 5 MRAD travel per rotation
  • Tactical exposed turrets provide fast and accurate adjustments and correctiosn
  • Customizable Rotational Stop (CRS) Zero-Stop aids in return to zero after dialing temporary elevation correction
  • Side-focus parallax knob: corrects parallax error from 50 yd to infinity
  • Fast Focus Eyepiece with 4" long eye relief
