Vortex VHS-4325 overview

  • 1Description

The 6-24x50 Viper HS-T Riflescope from Vortex Optics is designed to be a versatile scope for use in the field, on the range, and for tactical operations with medium to long-range targets. All of the scope's glass is made with XD extra-low dispersion glass and are XR antireflective fully multicoated to produce images that are bright and clear, with true color representation without distortion, across the entire field of view. Its large objective lens is ideal for use in low-light conditions such as at dawn and dusk when many game animals are most active. The 30mm main-tube is made from a single piece of aluminum. A matte-black hard anodized finish reduces reflection off the scope body, and resists scratching and corrosion. It's argon-filled for water and fogproof performance in all weather conditions.

Adding to the HS-T's versatility is the modified duplex VMR-1 MOA reticle situated on the second focal plane. This utilitarian reticle has thick outer posts, and thin center hairs with MOA hash-marks on both axes for ranging, hold-over, and shot correction. The lower vertical post is shorter to provide a longer elevation range.

    Vortex VHS-4325 reviews

6-24x50 Viper HS-T Riflescope (VMR-1 MOA Reticle) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 58.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely High Resolution I bought this scope more than a year ago. I knew I wanted a high quality scope within my price range, and this fit the bill perfectly. I was happy with it, but I didn’t realize just how great it was until deer season. The first night I was out, it started to get dark, I heard something, but I couldn’t quite make it out. I looked through the scope, and I could see clear as day! I was absolutely amazed! I was able to see that it was a medium size doe making all that noise. Although I didn’t get a buck on that hunt, I was able to see very well which allows me to hunt safer as well as longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome scope! Great glass on this scope! I have it mounted on a precision AR platform chambered in 6.5 Grendel. Using the Vortex cantilever mount, the entire unit is rock solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Full of features This is my second, identical Viper HST. My first was placed on a 24 inch Bushmaster in 5.56. While that is a LOT of scope for a medium range gun, I liked the features, and like to be able to zoom in for detail on targets such as prairie dogs at longer ranges. The glass was good in low light, something I need for coyote hunting on moonlit nights. This HST replaced a Leupold VXIII. My next HST was paired with a Bergara HST in 6.5 Creedmoor. This too will be a coyote gun, as well as a long range target rifle. Adjustments are positive. The clicks can be heard and felt. The glass is, as expected, clear and light transmission is good. I couldnt ask for much more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Scope with Unbelievable Clearity I bought this a few months ago to change out the Crossfire II on my 30-06 not because the Crossfire II was in danger of damage. It handled the 06 like a dream! So, that prompted me to buy this HST in 6-24x50 because the Crossfire II was only a 4-12x50. I knew I was going to get another gun so I figured I'd use it on it. Well I'm so glad that I did. I was "Awestruck" to say the least about the Clarity and Features of this scope. I can't say enough about it's abilities. It's Very bright, but not overpowering in daylight, yet very clear in low-light conditions as well. Vortex really put this scope together and did do it for us, "the hunters and shooters." It's definitely durable and trust-worthy to keep it's zero-setting. Nearly had at zero out of the box. 4 clicks left, then 5 clicks up and it was right where I wanted it. 1" high at 100yrds. Thank you Vortex for a great product and price! With Unlimited Lifetime Warranty! Yahoo, I'm a happy customer. Les

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would purchase again but This scope is great! I would absolutely buy this scope a second time if I ever needed to! BUT! With vortex’s warranty I may never have to! Unless I purchase another LR gun, I have this scope mounted on my Ruger precision rifle in 6mm creedmoor and its awesome! Couldn’t be happier with vortex for the quality to price ratio!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vetted Review - Aug 2017 Purchase Date Any product can get a 5 star review if the review is being written before the product actually sees range time, thats not the case with my reviews. This scope was purchased / mounted 6+ months ago onto a Ruger Precision rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmore. This was my first, non entry line, Vortex scope and based on what I've seen it won't be my last. For this rifle it came down to the HST 6-24 or a Trijicon AccuPoint 5-20, and in the end I think I made the right decision. The glass is beautiful, and the zero has held perfectly, but most importantly, the price point on the Vortex was so much lower that the difference meant I could buy a precision matched mount set with he scope and still come out ahead of the competitors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent long range scope Have had this scope for 3 years now and it has never disappointed me. Gathers light exceptionally well in low light hours. Shoot out to 700yds at paper and this scope allows you to be confident in your long range shots.
