Are these background sweeps washable? Ive been using the white one and it became dirty. Can I just throw it in the washing machine?

Does the back open as well as the front - if I want to put it on different color paper sweeps?
The back does not open. The front panel with zipper is only held with Velcro so it is easy to remove and insert a paper backdrop.
