The LED8TFT-ME 8" Replacement Monitor for Teleprompter is designed for use with the LED teleprompting system from Autoscript. By using LED backlight technology instead of florescent the panel is able to achieve lower power consumption and better readability. It is 12V DC-powered and consumes approximately 18 W in normal operation. In spite of the this figure it is able to achieve a brightness of 1700 nits. At 8" it supports a recommended reading range of 9' (3 m) depending on the size of the text fed into it.
The monitor features inputs for VGA and composite video (NTSC or PAL auto-sensing) so that you aren't limited to just connecting it to a computer.
