Sony HTXT1 Overview

The HT-XT1 170W Soundbar from Sony is a TV sound system that delivers powerful sound in a slim form-factor. This 2.1-channel soundbar outputs up to 170W of power and has a dual built-in subwoofer design for added bass impact. Bluetooth with NFC is on-board for wireless pairing and audio streaming when connected to other Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as smartphones, tablets and computers. You can also download the free SongPal app to control the soundbar from compatible Android and iOS devices.

The Sony HT-XT1 features three HDMI inputs for high-resolution audio and video connections. This system is also equipped with an HDMI output that supports 1080p, 3D and 4K video pass-through. For connecting additional audio sources, digital optical and 3.5mm audio inputs are also available; an optical cable is included. At 2.9" high, this soundbar was designed to have a slim profile and can be placed under TVs with a maximum weight of 66 lb.

Slim & Versatile Design
The Sony HT-XT1 is designed to complement your TV and your living space without being obtrusive. This soundbar is less than 3" tall and is intended for televisions ranging in size from 32 - 55". It's also capable of supporting TVs up to 66 pounds. The top surface is finished in tempered glass to provide a durable and stable surface for your TV.
Deep Bass
Housed in the soundbar's elevated chassis, the built-in dual down-firing subwoofers act in unison to add low bass impact to music and movie soundtracks.
Room-Filling Sound
Enjoy immersive sound with 170-watt S-Master amplification and S-Force digital signal processing. Independent bass, treble and subwoofer adjustments can be made to enhance the sound across all inputs, while seven sound field settings let you enjoy movies, music, and sports.
Wireless Bluetooth Music Streaming
Enjoy simplified Bluetooth pairing with Near Field Connectivity (NFC), simply tap the two devices together. Built-in SBC and AAC codec support improves audio signal quality when streaming music wirelessly.
Convenient Connectivity
Enjoy 4K pass-through using the 3 HDMI inputs for connecting HD devices like a cable box, Blu-ray player or gaming console. A single HDMI TV connection with ARC ensures a high-quality audio connection. The audio processor supports HD formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Conveniently connect legacy digital components using the optical input. You can also use the standard 3.5mm stereo auxiliary input on the rear panel for analog devices.
SongPal App System Control
The SongPal app is a free downloadable app for both Android and compatible iOS devices. This app can turn your smartphone or tablet into a convenient system remote for navigating content and controlling functionality. It can even control and playback your music files stored on your compatible device.
