Many of these laptop stands don't provide clearance to have equipment underneath. This provides plenty of clearance for a mixer and the accessory shelf is a nice add-on.

The top shelf is 8.5 wide and 9.6 deep. Unfortunately there are no specifications available on the removable accessory tray.
