Does it support 8'' monitors?
Luis G: I've purchased these speaker stands about six months ago for a pair of Foxtex PX-5 monitors (6-3/4 x 9 footprint). They are adjustable and perfect for my setup. The actual plate is 9 x 9 and according to their spec can hold up to 90lbs.Your 8-inch speakers may overlap a bit of the plate and if they are heavy, If your setup is near others, I'd suggest a strap around the speaker and plate and a sandbag on the base of the stand for added safety.
