The lime green AquaLens Pro from Aquabotix is a compact, portable, easy-to-use underwater viewing system with a color camera, live video feed, LED lights, and a 25' Kevlar-reinforced cable connecting it to the supplied, waterproof topside box/3.5" LCD monitor combination package. In a very short time, the spherical device, made of an ABS plastic body and an acrylic dome lens port, is ready for submersion to a maximum depth of 300'--and it does not require anyone to enter the water. Optional cable extensions are available for an increased operational range.

Simply use virtually any boat hook or another guide pole with the supplied adapter for pole attachment to position the device from a dry topside location. Then, watch the streaming video on the monitor.

Perform inspections of the underwater parts of your boat, including the anchor, rudder, hull, bottom and propellers. You can also use the AquaLens to check water conditions and execute searches, or to enjoy a closer look at undersea life and environments--all while staying dry and safe above the surface. The camera offers a 0.3MP, 1/4" CMOS image sensor and 640 x 480 resolution, and its lens provides a very wide angle of view of 160°. The dome port for the lens counteracts the decrease in coverage that occurs underwater by restoring a wider angle of view. The AquaLens also features anti-fogging technology for improved visibility.

Using the optional MyGica iGrabber or a similar accessory, you can record the live video feed from the AquaLens. The iGrabber connects to the topside box and offers simple push buttons that allow you to start and stop recording. At the other end is a USB plug for connection to your computer, where you can upload your captured videos. The AquaLens runs on a lithium rechargeable battery pack or on continuous topside power as an alternative, using the optional AC power adapter. A 100-240VAC smart charger is included, enabling use all over the world.

Applications
Perform inspections of the underwater parts of your boat, including the anchor, rudder, hull, bottom and propellers. You can also use the AquaLens to check water conditions and execute searches, or to enjoy a closer look at undersea life and environments--all while staying dry and safe above the surface. Simply use virtually any boat hook or another guide pole with the supplied adapter for pole attachment to position the device from a dry topside location. Then, watch the streaming video on the monitor.
Depth Rating
Can be submerged safely to a maximum depth of 300'.
Live Video
Color camera with 640 x 480p resolution provides live video feed to water's surface via the supplied 25' cable, which connects to the topside box/3.5" LCD monitor combination and is Kevlar-reinforced for extreme durability. Optional 25', 50' and 150' cable extensions are also available, offering an increased operational range, and can be combined for a total of up to 500'. The camera's lens provides a very wide angle of view of 160°, and the dome port counteracts the decrease in coverage that occurs underwater by restoring a wider angle of view. The AquaLens Pro also features anti-fogging technology for improved visibility.
Power
Runs on a lithium rechargeable battery pack. Battery run time ranges from approx. 5.0-8.0 hr, depending on whether LEDs are on or off. As an alternative to the battery, you can use continuous topside power via the optional AC power adapter, which runs on 100-240VAC and provides 12VDC power to the topside box and, in turn, the AquaLens itself. No additional cable is required, as the included cable that connects the AquaLens to the topside box transfers the continuous power.
Topside Box and 3.5" LCD Monitor Combination
Topside box is used to power the AquaLens and its LED lights on and off, while the monitor with 320x240 resolution allows you to view the live video feed. Both are conveniently combined into one unit, which is waterproof to 10', positively buoyant and impact-resistant.
Optional Recording
Using the optional MyGica iGrabber or a similar accessory, you can record the live video feed from the AquaLens. The iGrabber connects to the topside box and offers simple push buttons that allow you to start and stop recording. At the other end is a USB plug for connection to your computer, where you can upload your captured videos.
Optional Topside Viewing Station
Topside viewing station consists of topside box, which is used to power the AquaLens and its LED lights on and off; 7" LCD monitor with 800 x 480 resolution for viewing the live video feed; power control box; automatic pressure equalization valve; remote control; 6-pin connector cable; sealed 7.0 Ah, 12V battery for 6.0 hr of operating time; and a sealed battery charger running on 120 VAC and featuring 3 LEDs for battery level indication. The monitor is IP67 waterproof and features digital video recording (DVR) in AVI format. A supplied 32 GB SDHC memory card allows for up to 10 hr of recording time. The waterproof carrying case holds the contents of the station and also accommodates the AquaLens Pro itself.
