APC BE650MC Overview

The BE650MC Back-UPS 650 from APC features four outlets designed for battery backup and four outlets designed for surge protection. With a total output power capacity of 390 Watts this uninterrupted power supply not only provides backup power, it also helps to protect connected devices from damage that can occur as a result of electrical surges. In addition to the eight electrical outlets, you will also find a single phone/fax/DSL surge protected line, one coax input/output cable/CATV/DSS surge connector, and one 10/100Base-T surge protected Ethernet port.

This uninterrupted power supply comes with a variety of features to ensure your connected devices remain powered and safe. As with many UPS devices surge protection is important and this device keeps you protected with a surge energy rating of up to 375 Joules. The BE650MC also comes equipped with an integrated circuit breaker eliminating the need to replace a fuse should the system become overloaded.

You can easily manage nearly every aspect of your UPS through the integrated USB port. With audible alarms you will be notified about the status of the charging utility power as well as the overall conditions of the UPS including the status of the batteries. If the batteries are not performing and need to be replaced you can do so without shutting down the UPS as it supports the hot-swapping of batteries.
