Bad product

I tried putting this on my bike and there is no physical way of tightening the ball so it stays upright. I tried putting it upside down so that it would stay still but it kept bobbling around. I didn't even intend on buying this, the agent at the store messed up and included it in my cart. I wanted something else. Not sure if I'll return since this was my first time in the store.

Stable to at least .93 Mach / 713 mph

Sound crazy but I work with an airshow team called FighterJets, Inc. I used this to attach a GoPro MAX 360 camera and it was flawless. For safety reasons I drilled holes in the clamp bolt and wingnut so I could secure it. The mount was on the left 23mm canon barrel and when he landed it had not moved a bit! Great product FotodioX!

question

Can the Go pro mount be removed so you can use it to mount other brand cameras using the base screw? Thanks!

Yes. If you remove the blue piece, which is also sold separately as B&H # FOQRMOUNTBL, then you'll find a standard 1/4 -20 thread. Unlike the Manfrotto Nano Clamp it's nicely padded where it clamps onto your handlebar. One word of caution, if this is for a bicycle and if you're at all concerned about the weight of your bike then this is NOT the mount for you. It is surprisingly heavy, but seems very durable and well-made.
