The matte black 2-10x42 Conquest HD5 Lightweight Riflescope with RZ600 Reticle from Zeiss is designed with a wide zoom range and large objective lens for close to long-range use even in low-light. Its lenses are fully multicoated, and notably feature Zeiss' T* anti-reflection lens coating which increases light transmission to provide bright and clear images with true color rendition. The capped, low-profile adjusters shift the reticle 1/4 MOA per click, have a total adjustment range of 40 MOA for windage and 65 MOA for elevation. This allows easy, repeatable zero even in field conditions.
The Conquest HD5 features the proprietary RZ600 reticle with distance ranging marks above the upper vertical stadia and holdover marks for bullet drop on the lower stadia line. Unlike conventional BDC reticles, the Rapid-Z is not calculated for a single, specific load; instead, it works well with most modern hunting cartridges, featuring approximately 25, 50 and 100 yard increments when zeroed at 200 yards. To calculate exact distances with your specific loads, you can peruse Zeiss' ballistic calculator on their website or download the app for either iOS or Droid. Parallax is fixed and set at 300 yards. The scope is nitrogen-filled and o-ring sealed, as well as waterproof and fogproof. Its 1" maintube and aluminum body have a matte black anodized finish.
