The TruArc 5 Global Compass from Brunton is a compact globally-balanced compass with a 2° resolution and waterproofing to 300' deep. This compass features measurements of up to 2" and 50 mm as well as a magnifier for working with maps. Additionally, it has tool-free declination of ±180°.

Adjusting the magnetic declination requires tightly squeezing the compass vial at the top and at the base, while twisting the rubber edge of the vial. Many reviewers have complained on various sites that this is very difficult to do, even for people with strong hands. Some people have resorted to using pliers or other tools. Even with tools, the magnetic declination on my compass is stuck at the first place I set it, and it's not budging. Definitely can't recommend this compass.
