Is this cable easy to lay out rewrap and layout again? Is it as flexible as say a 100" XLR Mic cable?
I would say it would be slightly more ridged, but it still would be capable of easily being re rapped.

Yes it is shielded and If the units being connected run over Cat6 Ethercon, than this should work.
