Tried it with audio using a DL32 and M32 and it did not read or sync. Used one of my old cables and my console and snake synced up right after I swapped it out. If you purchase just be ready to terminate it yourself.

Is this cable easy to lay out rewrap and layout again? Is it as flexible as say a 100" XLR Mic cable?

I would say it would be slightly more ridged, but it still would be capable of easily being re rapped.

Yes it is shielded and If the units being connected run over Cat6 Ethercon, than this should work.
