The Field Pro Field Pro FP-180SL Bi-Color On-Camera 1-Light Battery Kit from Bescor is comprised of a FP-180 variable color light with articulating mount, 74" air-cushioned light stand, multi-voltage AC adapter, and metal hooks for hanging the lights. A FP-98NC 14.4V lithium-ion battery pack and chargers gives the FP-180 5 hours of run time for location work.
The FP-180's panel has 90 daylight-balanced and 90 tungsten-balanced LEDs that permit the color output to be varied from 3200 to 5400K to match prevailing light conditions or integrate seamlessly with other light sources. For further versatility a separate control allows you to adjust the light intensity from 100-10% without flicker at all levels. The FP-180 can be powered by 8 AA batteries, 14.4V battery packs, or with a multi-voltage AC adapter. A diffusion filter and orange color correction filter are included to allow you soften or adjust the color temperature of the light. The FP-180's articulating mount enables on-camera use or stand mounting via a 1/4"-20 tap in the mount's base.
The included FP-98NC 14.4V lithium-ion battery pack is a 98Wh, clip-on battery pack for devices operating between 14 and 16V. When used with the FP-180, it has a run time of nearly 5 hours. It has a 2.5mm DC power output for compatible 2.5mm DC devices. It hangs from the waist with a military-style belt clip.
The universal, automatic BC-98L lithium-ion battery charger included in the kit can be used safely worldwide with the addition of an optional plug adapter when needed. It will charge the FP-98NC from depletion in 4-5 hours.
