Trijicon Battery Cap and Lanyard Assembly for 1-6x24 VCOG

A necessary item but costly (not B&H's fault)

This is one of those must-have items that just makes you sick to purchase when you see what you get for the price you pay. Fifty four dollars for THIS??? But it's no fault of B&H. As I've said in other reviews, if it has the Trijicon name on it, it is of great quality and it costs. But all this is is a tiny battery cap with a wire on it! Still ... you need this wire because if you find yourself out in the field, or out on a dark, stormy night, trying to change the battery on your scope and you should drop your battery cap ... you are hosed if you can't find it. The scope no longer lights up without it, and the scenario I described can happen all too often. So I suggest you bite the bullet, pay the money and get the cap. Once and done, as they say.
