The NEC OPS-DRD OPS Digital Signage Player operates on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS and is for use with for large format displays and projectors. The player features a 1 GHz Quad Core ARM processor with an integrated multi-media processor capable of 1080p playback and the ability to run certified third party software.
The player supports true 1080P video with hardware assisted support for formats such as MPEG2, H.264, and WM9. It is packaged in an OPS form-factor and can be plugged directly into any LCD supporting the Open Pluggable Specification (OPS). With full access to the Play Store through 100/1000 LAN wired and 802.11n wireless network support, this OPS player can be customized for any digital signage platform. It can also be utilized to receive images and videos wirelessly through the peer-to-peer transfer capabilities of Miracast.
This player is designed for commercial applications such as digital signage, quick service restaurant, and/or display walls. It features power, video, audio, and serial controls that are accessible thru the units OPS connector thus eliminating the need for external cabling. The player also features USB 2.0 ports for connection to keyboard, mouse, flash, or touch screen, audio, 8GB NAND flash memory, and a SD card slot for integrated storage.
