Auray FP-S1L Reviews

Had bad cable

Got this as part of a keyboard package. When I initially put the package together, I was disappointed because it seemed very picky about how you put your foot on it. But I was not primarily interested in using a pedal, so I blew it off. Later when I wanted to use it, I was always frustrated by the way it sometimes worked and sometime did not work. I was about to buy a different one, when I thought I would open it and see if I could figure out the problem. It turned out to be a broken cable. I had to cut about 6 of cable off the switch end to get the broken section out. Now seems to work fine.

is this a latching switch or is it a momentary contact switch that breaks the connection when you remove your foot from the pedal?
Asked by: Micah
The Auray FP-S1L Universal Sustain Pedal has a momentary switch so it is engaged only while your foot is on the pedal.

can i use this for mixer reverb as foot switch?

Typically you would use a momentary switch, not sustain, to latch effects on or off, but you may want to check with the mixer's owner's manual. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/143489-REG/Korg_PS1_PS1_Single_Momentary_Footswitch.html
