The Black Box Multi DVI-D CATx Extender Receiver supports DVI-D signals from up to 600 ft away from compatible transmitters, over CAT5/5e/6 in resolutions up to 1080p and 1600 x 1200. It features two RJ-45 ports, an input for the main signal and output for daisy-chaining to another receiver up to 600 ft away. It also features two slots for optional input and output fiber modules, which come in multimode and singlemode versions supporting from 1640 ft to 6.2 miles. These can be used for both extending the DVI signal and daisy-chaining to another receiver.
The RJ-45 and optional fiber connections cannot be used at the same time nor mixed, but you can switch between them.
