Creative Digital from Plugin Alliance is a software bundle that features four creative processors from Brainworx, Noveltech and ProAudioDSP. Individual components of the bundle allow for creating perfect M/S stereo sounds from any mono source, capturing frequency-domain and dynamic characteristics of a signal and applying it to another signal, adding "Character" to lifeless signals, or getting creative with a collection of dynamic EQs.
The bx_ dynEQ V2 from Brainworx is a dynamic EQ plug-in using innovative M/S features and an Inverse Mode that allows for results not possible with standard EQs. A dynamic EQ is a filter that is not limited to a specific gain level, but which changes gain settings according to the dynamics of a trigger signal. This trigger signal can be the whole signal running through the plug-in or just a filtered part of that signal, using the internal filtered sidechain.
The plug-in comprises three parts: bx_dynEQ mono, bx_dynEQ stereo (L/R) and bx_dynEQ stereo (M/S). The M/S mode features a "cross-feed" setting which allows the mid and side signals to "trigger" each other. A comprehensive selection of filter types is included. Preset knobs in the GUI enable the engineer to easily find starting points for any desired processing. In addition to being an EQ, the software can also function as a dynamics processor.
bx_stereomaker from Brainworx is frequency-optimized Mid/Side (M/S) up-mixing tool for vocal, guitar, loop, synthesizer, or effects tracks recorded in mono. The plug-in can be used for most mono sources and creates a pseudo stereo effect that is perfect for situations where widening a source with reverb or chorus won't do, but where the signal needs to be spread out.
Usage is especially useful for today's "tight" pop mixes where focus mustn't be lost. The software creates a virtual side (S) signal with analog style filters using advanced processing and the virtual side can be soloed as can the dry mid (M), non-spatial signal. Additionally, it's possible to balance the center of the stereo signal while paying attention to its frequency range.
Character from Noveltech is a plug-in that intelligently enhances the relevant characteristics found in a particular audio source. Using the company's Intelligent Adaptive Filtering (IAF) technology, the software constantly adjusts complex sets of parameters rather than boosting a static frequency range.
For beefing up a drum sound, injecting more crispness into a guitar track, or enhancing a full mix, the plug-in can instantly increase the definition of recordings using only three intuitive parameters. The processing is non-linear and affects both the frequency response and dynamic properties of the input material in a highly time-varying manner.

The DSM-V2 from ProAudioDSP is a unique processor plug-in that captures both the frequency domain and the dynamic characteristics of even the most complex audio material. This capture can then be used in its original form or enhanced to control the dynamics and increase the loudness of the source when used as a mastering limiter.
Developed by Paul Frindle and Paul Ryde who previously worked on writing software for several high-end, large format digital consoles, the plug-in can do much more than just limiting. It can serve as a de-esser, vocal enhancer and compressor, or add some nice magic to an audio file. The capture can also be used to "equal out" dissimilar audio for various applications.
