Better than the set that came with the system

After years of outdoors and on-water use, the old headset developed a short, lost its two wind guards and was due for a replacement. We bought the system @ B&H, so it only made sense to go there for the replacement - which seems like its been upgraded. Was the same price as buying directly from Shure - but w/ free shipping. Can't beat it.

Will this work with a diety PR2 if I get a TA4f to 3.5mm adapter?

We cannot guarantee that the Shure PGA31 Cardioid Headset Microphone will be compatible with devices that do not natively support the standard TA4F Shure wiring.

Yes, the Shure PGA31 uses a TA4 connector which is compatible with the VLX1 transmitter.

I assume you meant TA4F-- this is the type of connector on this microphone. Pretty sure it is a Shure proprietary connector, so you would want a mic with this if you're connecting to a Shure wireless system. They are small, round, and have 4 pins. Sometimes they're used for specialty wired mics as well.

While this product is not adjustable aside from positioning of the gooseneck boom, the item is fairly universally sized.
