The Aiphone Remote Activation Interface Adapter allows any standard motion detector or activation device with a normally open contact to be interfaced with the JA, JF, or KC Series Video Door Stations. When the activation device is tripped, the camera will turn on, and a chime will be heard inside the monitor station, indicating that there is some activity near the door station location.
Note:
The MKW-DK/A must be installed within 2' of the video door station. The unit is not weather resistant, so it should be installed in a protected enclosure, preferably in a box behind the video door station.
