AgfaPhoto CT Precisa reviews

CTprecisa 100 Color Transparency Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Who Needs Ektachrome? When Kodak abandoned its line of slide films, photographers who had been loyal to Ektachrome and Kodachrome were understandably disappointed and dismayed. Fortunately, Agfa has come along to fill the void left by Kodak, and it has filled it very well. CT Precisa is a brilliant, sharp, and almost grainless slide film that will make you forget Ektachrome 100. It would be nice if Agfa followed up with Precisa 200 and Precisa 400 slide films. Kodak should learn a lesson from this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very satisfied This seems pretty expensive on B&H and there doesn't seem to be much interest in it, which is a shame. I've seen it cheaper elsewhere and I really liked the quality of images I got from it, so much that I've considered shooting more. Colour is deep but not over saturated and there is a kind of low contrast Germanic look to it (despite being manufactured in Japan). Probably very suitable for street or portraits, and skintones are inoffensive. I found that there is a suprising degree of detail in shadows and highlights (more in shadows) and little grain.
