No, the end of the Vello FreeWave Viewer Video Cable for Canon 5D Mark II is not for the N3 remote release port on the Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR Camera. One end of the above cable is designed to plug into the Vello FreeWave Viewer, and the other end is designed to plug into the A/V OUT Terminal on the side of the camera, shown on both pages 16 and 157 of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR Camera's instruction manual.
