The 8x40 Level Binoculars from Barska provide 8x magnification and have 40mm diameter objective lenses and 8.2° angular field of view. They feature fully multicoated optics and BK7 Porro prisms, which improve light transmission and image clarity compared to the single-coated optics and lower-grade glass in prisms.
Beyond optical properties, these binoculars have a set of convenience features. For example, they can be mounted on a tripod to reduce image jitter introduced by unsteady hands. The center focus wheel allows you to focus both tubes simultaneously, and diopter adjustment allows you to accommodate the dioptric difference between both eyes. Also, the eyecups can be folded down to allow extra space for eyeglasses.
