The X-812 Mount Block for Canon 5D Series and 7D DSLRs from Cambo attaches a Canon 7D and 5D-series DSLR to the Cambo X-2 PRO enabling the DSLR to make the front standard movements of a view camera, including rise, fall, swing, tilt and shift. In addition the X-812 mount places the camera's sensor in the exact optical center of the lens when mounted to the X-2. The quick release capability of the mount lets you switch the camera from horizontal to vertical orientation without removing the X-2 PRO System's bellows.
For proper alignment and function, the cameras should be mounted with their battery grips in place. The mount screws into the tripod thread at the base of the battery grip. The X-812 will also mount Canon 20D, 30D, 40D and 50D DSLRs (with battery grip) to the X-2 system.
