Pretty basic, plenty strong. I wish it had a 1/4-20 thread. Very affordable.

Telescopic Pole Adaptation

Mounted the flip bracked to my telescoping pole so that I can mount a small watetproof camera with a thumbscrew. Haven't used it yet to snap pics and video underwater reefs, but everything mounts OK. Bracket is very study. Exactly what I was looking for.

question

Are the two 1/4 holes threaded for 1/4-20?
Asked by: Vladimir
The two 1/4" holes are NOT threaded, but are only clearance holes for 1/4" bolts. Thus, it is not possible to use this directly on top of a tripod, since the 1/4-20 bolt on the tripod has nothing to screw into.

question

What are the dimensions?
Asked by: Dan
I don't have a ruler handy but it looks about about an inch wide and 1 1/4 inch in length from the elbow.
