The Vivitek D910HD 3D Digital Projector packs 3000 lumens of brightness backed with a 5000:1 contrast ratio that displays images in a true-to-life form. With a 1920 x 1080 resolution, not only does the projector support 1080p content but is compatible with today's widescreen laptops, whether they're Mac or PC. On the home theater front, the D910HD is exactly what is required for 16:9 Blu-ray feature films, and has full 3D capability.
The D910HD uses the latest in DLP technology from Texas Instruments called BrilliantColor. Unlike other technologies such as LCD that use just three primary colors to produce the image, DLP technology with BrilliantColor uses up to six separate colors. BrilliantColor not only improves color accuracy, it brightens secondary colors as well.
Weighing in at eight pounds, there's a chance it may do some traveling, and it won't have to be limited to domestic flights. It's got an international auto switching 100 to 240 volt 50/60 Hz power supply. It can also project video in the NTSC, PAL and SECAM international video standards.
Vivitek has built a plethora of connectivity options into the D910HD including HDMI, component, VGA (2x), and S-video. An RJ-45 connector allows control of the projector over a network.
Lastly, it offers 5000 lamp life hours in Eco Mode and as with all DLPs, you'll never have to change a filter.
