Gabor MD-BD13B Reviews
Short Arms

When mounting dual 27 monitors, the arms could be longer to allow more flexibility in viewing orientation. Also, the knob to tighten the bracket is slightly larger than the bracket making it difficult to tighten when the desk has a back.
Surprising quality

I'm only hanging 24" monitors off of this and it does a perfectly acceptable job and for the price I'd perhaps even say an exceptional job. Sure, there are sturdier devices available at B&H but this mounting system works just fine

Can you set the monitors side by side at different heights? (i.e., I have 2 different sizes of monitors and I like them set so the top edges line up, not the centers...)
Unfortunately, no. The mount for each monitor comes off a single mounting piece on the column and, while you can move them forward and back independently, they only move up and down as a unit.

How far will the arm extend from the mounting pole?
Each arm extends about 14 inches from the pole to the middle of the monitor mount. It is enough distance to accommodate two 24 inch wide screen monitors.

question
Will the clamp fit through a 2.5 inch hole? My cubicle backs up to a wall, i'd have to insert the clamp into the extra cable hole in the desk.
I agree with Jays answer. The long upright post can be separated from the cross member arms that support the monitors. This will make it a lot easier to manhandle it. I would also suggest (using a small Allen wrench) take the locking screw (the long screw and plate that support the stand to the table) apart. This will then make the piece that goes through the desk a simpler C shape. (If you have mechanical aptitude or you have someone who has, this should be quite simple). Worst case, BH are nice about returns. It's quite well made, I'm happy with it.

question
I have a glass desk that fits the width requirements, but I'm curious whether or not anyone has mounted it on glass? Any issues?
I have it mounted on a small glass top desk, it comes with a small rubber pad wich you just stick on the bracket to tighten. So far it holds good! No complaints.

question
Can anyone tell me the outer diameter of the pole this mounts on and if if the height can be adjusted quickly (uses a clamp or other quick release, not screws)?
It looks like I missed this email, caught it when cleaning up my inbox. But if the info can be used for future buyers, I am happy to respond. The standing support is 1 1/4 Dia., and yes the bracket that supports the arms has a lever (as shown in the picture) that can easily be adjusted up or down. The question wasn't asked, but the standing support is 16 tall. Hope this helps!

question
What's the difference between Flush Mounting and Recessed mounting on this mount?
On some monitors, the threaded mounting inserts (that the bolts screw into) are recessed, rather than flush. The mounting hardware included with this item has plastic spacers that allow those types of monitors to be used with this mount.
