What is the max wattage?
What is the max wattage?
This cord uses 12 AWG wire, which is rated to carry up to 20 Amps. However, for continuous loads, only 80% of this maximum current, or 16A, should be drawn. For 120V power, this would correspond to 1920 W continuous load.

question
It says each outlet is rated for 15A. Does that mean these cords can't handle a light like a 2k fresnel, which would require more than 15A?
I would not recommend overloading this plug.
