The 42WT30MS-B 42" Full HD Widescreen 10-Point Multi-Touch IPS LCD Display from LG features an IR spread-based touch-screen that delivers accurate touches, swipes, and gestures without ghosting. Featuring support for 10-point touch, this Full HD display can be used in high-traffic locations such as subways and exhibition halls for interactive way-finding and informational purposes.
The display has a full brightness of 400 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 (typical). The IPS panel allows for a viewing angle of 178° (horizontal and vertical). In addition, the display offers RJ-45 LAN control, RS-232C control, 10W stereo speakers, and support for media playback directly from external USB storage devices. The video inputs on the rear panel include HDMI, DVI-D, DisplayPort, D-Sub, and component video.
This display can be tiled with additional displays to create a video wall. The tile mode allows creating 1 x 2, 2 x 2, 3 x 3, 4 x 4, and 5 x 5 configurations. When active, the tile mode prevents the image being displayed to be overlapped by the bezel. The PIP/PBP displays videos and photos stored on the external USB storage device on a single monitor with the main and sub-screens divided. The sub-screen displaying media playback is thus displayed in a portion of the main screen.
