This cable features a coiled design that offers a relaxed length of 28" that can stretch up to 9.2' when needed. This allows users to set up their flash in a variety of situations, including on a bracket or light stand, without issue. Also, the cable has a locking mechanism that is compatible with Bolt- and Quantum-style locking collars to ensure a secure connection. I buy a dozen of these cables every year. They don't hold up in the real world if you're shootng on-location. Maybe they work great in the studio but I have a box with several dozen that have failed after a few months of use. Unfortunately, I'm kind of locked in to the Bolt battery system I use, so I keep buying the cables and deduct the cost as an operating expense.
