Single stand solution for pop-up

Used to struggle with hanging large pop up background. How to either stretch it between two stands with clamps, or hung it from one stand but had it moving around in the breeze every time somebody walked by. This works well too grab the metal rim of a 5x7 pop up. I find it works best if I lower the stand after I hang the pop up so that the bottom just barely touches the floor.

This is expensive, like most Manfrotto items, but is solid and larger and stronger than the cheap alternatives. I purchased the Impact Collapsible Background V2 Kit Black and White to alternate with my existing collapsible green/blue screen. This support makes quick and stable the changes and, i am sure would work with reflectors as well. Mount it high on a light stand and stick the backdrop near the two magnets and adjust and you are done.

Yes, it does accept 6x7 collapsible backgrounds.

It's use is only Vertically, in which its made to support the weight.

Hi. Can the Lastolite LL LB1120 magnetic support be used with all Lastolite Backgrounds please? If not, which ones? Thanks, Neil.
This should work for any background with a spring-steel collapsible frame (as long as the steel band measurement isn't too wide). So, Lastolite or other brands of similar construction should work. It also can work for collapsible reflectors, diffusion panels, etc. of similar build. It is a very handy piece of hardware to have - despite its high price. It definitely saves time in putting up / taking down a background. I hope this helps!
