Bushnell 260150 overview

  • 1Description

The 6x50 Equinox Z Digital Night Vision Monocular from Bushnell uses an infrared-sensitive CMOS sensor and a micro LCD screen for its night vision capabilities, instead of a conventional intensifier tube. A built-in IR illuminator provides an effective night vision range of up to 1000'. A side rail enables accessories, like another illuminator, to be attached directly to the monocular. The screen displays color images during the day, and black and white when the night vision is on for great clarity and contrast. Enhancing the optical 6x magnification is a digital zoom to provide up to 18x magnification.

Capture video with sound and still images in 640 x 480 resolution, and save them to an optional microSD card in the built-in card slot. It supports cards up to 32GB. A switch on the bottom of the monocular lets you quickly switch from video to still images. A USB port lets you transfer the files to a computer without having to remove the card. An RCA video-out port allows the live video feed to be sent to an external monitor or recording device. The status of the monocular is displayed on the LCD screen in the field of view. The icons can be disabled for an unobstructed view. Icons show battery level, zoom factor, IR and image brightness settings, if a memory card isn't detected, elapsed and remaining recording time, and the number of pictures you can take based on the available memory.

    Bushnell 260150 reviews

6x50 Equinox Z Digital Night Vision Monocular is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful, even for price First one arrived and didn't function. Second one worked, but did not produce results even close to what is shown on website. Even with additional IR spotlights, this scope/camera didn't produce images were facial recognition is even close at 200-600meters. In total darkness, the cam does help pick silhouette/shapes and eyes of deer and coyotes out on a rural surveillance. Still pictures OK. Video pretty grainy. Digital viewfinder will wear on your eyes and is very bright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Patrol I work evening shift patrol at a Sheriffs Office. I recently bought this on the skeptical side of how well it works. I love it! I can see roughly 200 yards in complete darkness. I can see decently into the woods and across fields. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Quality Digital Night Vision I am really happy with My New Digital Night Vision Monocular. My old Monocular has 5x42 and The New Equinox Beats it with features that are just not available with older models. I like to Capture a lot of Video. For this reason alone, it was important that the device was flexible. I have used it and it performs well. The 5x50 brings in objects close and clear. The ir is flexible as it has several settings. The ability to record video right to the device is awesome. With the USB, it makes it even more flexible when reviewing photos, video or deleting without removing the micro sd card. I also like the idea of being able to see in the daylight with full color. What was not previously mentioned about the product is that you have the ability to change from Bl and Wh to a green at night . The Battery Cover Screw might be better, as sometimes I still get the batteries mixed up between positive and neg. Rubber Cover over the vid, sd card and usb might be a problem in the future , seems to be a little flimsy. Other than that very happy with my purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sounded too good to be true, it was At twilight this was great. At full dark in wide open spaces it was very good ( although the field of view was smaller than expected ) In the woods with the IR on everything was washed out , couldn't identify much. The daytime color image was just OK. The camera function didn't work at all. Unit froze up every time I tried to take a picture, and I had to remove batteries to restart.I could have exchanged this unit for another but I bought this for hunting and the washed out image in the woods was a deal breaker . Returned for a refund
