Can I use this plate to attach Gold Mount plates ...
Can I use this plate to attach Gold Mount plates to a V-mount screw pattern holes? My FSI monitor has only V-mount screw patterns and looking for a solution to mount Gold Mount without spending too much money.
While using the Core SWX X-Module Mounting Plate for JetPack X Power Adapters (B&H# COJPXXMT) to adapt between different positions of the mounting threads for the two major types of large battery plates is not the intended purpose for this item, since it will fit each of those positions in many cases it is entirely possible that you will find a way to employ screws that will do the job. The results of such off-label DIY use being uncertain, however, we cannot recommend that specific utilization. Moreover, there may be some variation in mounting thread positions on different products using V-mount and Gold (A.K.A. Anton Bauer) mount battery plates.
