Seems good enough, but doesnt have enough thread length to mount on the Benro 100mm Hi-Hat.

Solid build quality for a great price. BUT... the product description says 3/8-16 thread. This is only half true. The fluid head thread is standard 3/8-16, and the thread connection to the tie-down knob is something proprietary. This will NOT work with standard 3/8-16 threaded tie-downs from Manfrotto (or Libec), only E-image or Cartoni. Plan accordingly!

What's the diameter of the round part of the tightening knob?

Since the E-Image 100mm Ball to Flat Base Adapter (B&H# EI100BF) has a triangular tie-down knob, you might mean the male thread on top (3/8"-16) or the base on top (which is designed to fit in a 100mm bowl). While there is no size given for the shaft extending up from the tie-down knob toward the flat base, a good estimate would be about an inch (2.54cm) in diameter.

Is the bottom of the 100mm half-bowl flat? I want ...

Is the bottom of the 100mm half-bowl flat? I want to use it on a 75mm tripod so it remains fixed, and I can adjust the head with the legs? (better stability for putting a slider)

If you're using a tripod with a 75mm base, you're better off using a 75mm half-bowl since a 100mm half-bowl will not fit.
