I use the Wimberley plamp a lot in my Flower photography. To hold up a diffuser, reflector or a texture behind the flower. This is extension will be used quite often to assist me.

Will be a nice addition to my boom pole. Simple but seems to be a durable item. Unfortunately, both ends are open face so I have to DIY 1/4 - 20 and 5/8th on the opposite end to make it work.

Wonderful way to get some extra working space in front of a macro lens when attached to a tripod for studio or outdoor work. Just a bit difficult to snap into place, other than that, perfect!

It does not come with any connections, so order what you need to attach your device and clamp. I was using it for a speedlight in a plastic tube for all weather wildlife images, so I am sure I exceed their recommended weight limit. Should work well with a phone or gopro but you will have to order a device to attache them and a clamp

This is a great extension for the plamps that I use so often in my flower photography. The plamp holds up the flower stem while another may hold the diffuser or reflector!
