The Plamp II Thumbscrew Clip from Wimberly is a replacement part for the clamp included with the Plamp II or as an upgrade for the original Plamp. It features nylon super tough nylon jaws with notches for securely holding a reflector or diffuser as well as foam jaw inserts for delicate objects and an arched recess for gripping rounded tools like flashlights. The clamp is thumbscrew activated, allowing for precise opening and closing as well as stronger force than traditional tension-based clamps. It also has an EPDM tension band that is weather and UV resistant for durability. Also, it easily just snaps onto the Loc-Line in place of the original clamp.

I now have 6 plamps. Could not live without them for jewelry photography. I had 4 of the older ones with the weak clamps and 2 of the new plamp II's. This new clamp is so much better. It was easy to remove the older ones and pop on these new ones. Follow instructions and warm up with some hot water to make the plastic a little softer and they pop right on.
