Panasonic eneloop Power Pack Kit Overview

This eneloop Power Pack Kit from Panasonic includes a 4-position charger, 8 AA and 2 AAA rechargeable batteries, as well as two C and D spacers, and a carrying case.

The eneloop batteries come pre-charged and ready to use out of the pack. They are not subject to any memory effect so you can charge them up to 2100 times whether they are fully or partially drained. After ten years of non-use, they maintain 70% of their charge. These cells have also been improved for enhanced performance in temperatures down to -4°F.

The included battery spacers allow you to power devices that normally take C or D batteries, with AA batteries. A carrying case is included to keep all of the contents together.

This is a great starter kit for the Panasonic eneloop battery. If you were to buy the items separately, it would cost more. It is also a convenient case to keep everything together. The batteries work great and last longer than other rechargeable batteries in cold weather, which is the primary reason for buying them.

Bad chargers

Enthusiastic Panasonic fan. Batteries are great, no complaints. But both chargers, BQ-CC17, have stopped working after a year of moderate use. Rapid blinking doesn't stop. One charger will charge one battery at a time. However, the little suitcase is great.

In which country batteries and Charger are made / manufactured? There they subject to Memory effects?

Can I charge the eneloop pro AA 2550mAh batteries optimally on this charger? I mean, full and fast charge, like with the black eneloop charger...

It works but not very fast. I would recommend the Powerex 8 AA/AAA LCD 1-HOUR CHARGER.You can charge any thing from 1 battery to 8 batteries at a time quickly. The eneloop batteries are great and recharge quickly with the Powerex charger.

No problem so long as your charger is smart enough to charge each cell individually. The charger in this pack should be smart enough if it has one charge status LED for each cell (ie. four LEDs).This link clarifies, the Smart & Quick or Advanced chargers should satisfy the criteria:panasonic DOT net/energy/battery/eneloop/lineup/#lineup02
