    Ruggard MCH-SD12B reviews

Memory Card Case for 12 SD Cards and 12 microSD Cards is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 145.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too tight Maybe mine just needs to be broken in, but I find it really hard to get cards out. I have another smaller version of this, also by RUGGARD, and actually split a SD card in half trying to get it out. This is sort of the same thing. The fit is really snug if you have two cards side by side. If you just use one half, it isn't so bad, but having two in side by side is really tight. You either can't get it to stick because you can't wedge your card in, or you can barely get it out once it is in. I like the brand, but this product has me hesitant to buy similar memory card holders in the future. Maybe I am an idiot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lot's of Memories all in One Place I purchased this Memory Card Case for travel. Lately, I feel like I want an extra backup of my photos while traveling and feel that keeping them on the SD cards until I get home and can back them up beyond my computer and backup drive is just a little extra security. This holder provide space for 12 cards. It is rugged and just what I was looking for. Can't wait to use it on my next vacation. Not sure about the little loop at the top. I guess if you want to hand the case around your neck or hook it into a something in your camera case so it won't slip out it would be helpful until it breaks off. Seems to be the least sturdy part, but also the least necessary part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great case, but some fitting issues Solid case that will definitely protect whatever is inside. There's also enough space to slip in a microfiber cloth inside. The only issues I had with the case were that some of the slots for the cards are a little tight, particularly for the microSD cards. It required a bit of force and angling in order to finally insert the card into its slot, but at least I know they won't slip out. The other issue was that if the case bounces around even a little bit, some of my SD cards slipped out of their slot. I noticed this when I went to grab a card and felt something loose inside the case. When I opened it, I saw that 2 SD cards had slipped out of their slot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too snug! I don't normally write reviews, but I had to confirm what others have said about how tight this is. It's a real problem. The rubber slots are so snug that they put too much pressure on SD cards. MicroSD isn't a problem, because it's just a single piece of plastic. But I've ruined two (relatively expensive) 64GB SD cards in this case, because there's so much pressure on the sides that the plastic on the cards starts separating. To make matters worse, you can easily damage the cards when you have to pry them out of the slots with your fingernail. I wanted to love this little case, but it's more a liability than a useful tool.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't secure cards I've had this case for about two years and I finally had to post a review. If you've got enough SD cards to cover every micro-SD card, you're good to go. However, there isn't a single slot in this case that will secure a micro-SD. They just won't seat. Eventually every single micro-SD in the case will be freely tumbling around. This constantly makes me nervous that they're going to get damaged. The only way to secure them is to cover them with an SD and basically pin them down. It's honestly a pain. I get where their head was at, but the functionality on this one as far as the micros go is garbage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again I like this case. It's nice that it can store up to 16 SD cards. The indents in the case work based on friction as they are made of cutouts into high density foam that gives a bit as you press each individual card into the individual storage spaces in the case. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars out of 5 is because the SD cards tend to pop out when placed next to one another in the case (horizontally). This may just be due to the relative newness of the foam and may change as the case is used and the foam is broken in by repeated use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great case but not perfect Case holds all my SD cards but even when full cards pop out of their spot and when space opposite a card is empty the SD card pops out and is loose. Basically needs tighter tolerance on foam insert, then it would be a 5 star product. I have ordered a Pelican 0915 case and will return this case if the Pelican has better inserts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from imperfect This is a solid case that protects the cards well, but it is flawed because the the cards are not held securely. At least half the time I open this case, one or more cards immediately fall out, and commonly while removing a card, another will fall out. The recesses for the cards are too shallow. Almost a good product.
